Comic Book Guy meme template

What it means

Comic Book Guy is Springfield's resident curmudgeon from The Simpsons, the paunchy owner of the Android's Dungeon who has elevated disapproval into a science and compressed every judgment into the same immortal structure: worst. blank. ever. Delivered with a monotone that has never once risen with passion, the verdict became one of the show's most quoted exports and a lasting meme format. The caption fills in the target, a movie, an update, a sandwich, a group chat decision, and the punctuated cadence does the rest. He is the patron saint of the pedantic critic, which is why the meme is used both to genuinely roast something and to self-deprecatingly acknowledge one's own inner hater.

When to use it

• Delivering a deadpan worst-ever verdict on anything
• Mocking pedantic critic energy
• Roasting movies, updates, and decisions with Simpsons cadence
