Sarcastic Bear meme template

What it means

Sarcastic Bear is a wildlife photograph of a brown bear sitting among rocks with its head tipped back and mouth open in what looks exactly like an exaggerated, theatrical wow. The expression reads less like genuine astonishment and more like the flattest, most rehearsed sarcasm in the animal kingdom, which is precisely why it became a template. The caption supplies the announcement someone is making, and the bear supplies the world's least sincere reaction: clapping with one paw energy, mock gasping, supreme unimpressed. It is the ideal response to obvious statements, recycled hot takes, and anyone announcing something they think is groundbreaking but everyone learned years ago.

When to use it

• Reacting sarcastically to an obvious or stale announcement
• Mock astonishment at something nobody finds impressive
• Delivering world's-least-sincere surprise energy
